The owners of Paia's Garden are master chefs. Both have been cooking since they were very young under the tutelage of Kit's grandmother. Nui & Kit came to Hawaii from Thailand in the early 1990's.

Since graduating from MCC, Kit has worked at several Maui restaurants, including Mama's Fish House, even a Mexican restaurant.

Nui's cooking has always been in high demand and she personally catered all of Shep Gordon's parties for seven years. Nui is as comfortable cooking for two hundred as she is cooking for two.

Both Nui and Kit can take a few fresh vegetables and create a dish that is imaginative, delicious, and visually appealing.
